So, I was nominated by two different people for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Prior to my nomination, I saw several people complaining about it. Yes, complaining about people doing fun, sweet things for others. I just can't imagine. Most people who have taken the challenge, that I know of, have not just dumped ice on their heads but have also donated. That's pretty darn cool. ALSA.org has been flooded (no pun intended) with donations.
To me, that's amazing.
More amazing is that people WANT to do this stuff. It gives me hope for humanity.
For my challenge, I had a whole spiel thought out. I wanted to do something more. So, I'll talk about it here. I challenge everyone...EVERYONE...to give. Give your time. Give your heart. Give money, if you want. Just give. If all you can afford is a smile for a stranger, DO IT. Just give.
Now, without further ado...my ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
