Formerly from Detroit, Michigan, I now live in the farmland of South Central Kentucky with my husband, kids, and a menagerie of pets. I've been writing all my life, and knew that's what I wanted to be when I grew up. In fifth grade, my poem "Love Is" appeared in the Detroit Children's Museum newsletter. Seeing my name in print sealed the deal. Every day, I'd sit on the couch and write. And write. And write. My first novel, a young adult adventure, was published in 2000. Boy, did I learn a lot from that experience. I took some time off afterward to stretch my acting muscles, performing at the Michigan Renaissance Festival, Genetti's Hole-in-the-Wall, and with the national murder mystery dinner theatre company "Murder Mystery Players." I've appeared in several Michigan films and webseries as well, including Vampirism Bites and Star Trek: Osiris. Now, I'm back to writing and I couldn't be happier about it! I'm a member of the Great Lakes Association of Horror Writer, as well as the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
Besides writing, I love reading (fantasy, scifi, paranormal...just to name a few), crafting, and nerding out to my favorite television shows.
I hate being late, bigotry, and bullies.
Oh, and I have a definite chai latte addiction.
